Power the main or second zone on and off, adjust volume, change audio modes or tweak channel trims for a perfect surround sound experience. Web UI can also be used to calibrate speaker delays and levels and configure network settings/control options. Source devices can be renamed, simplifying set up by enabling the elimination of unused inputs. Installers can import and export files to make remote management simple and convenient.

The Anthem MRX 540 features external control and IP control capabilities for easy customization and compatibility with third-party integration solutions. It offers IP control capability for major third-party control devices.

Anthem MRX x40 & AVM 70 Firmware Update Process

Current Release Version 00.61, Current Networking Module Release Version 1.103.133

**Please follow the steps below to update a new unit out of the box.**

1. Plug the MRX/AVM Series unit into a power outlet.

2. Connect the MRX/AVM Series unit to a wired ethernet network connection or use the Google Home App to place the unit on the client’s wireless network. Please reference our Quick Start Guide for instructions on how to download the Google Home App.

**Install Tip** – Always install the wireless antennas, even if the unit is on a wired ethernet network connection. The wireless antennas are also our Bluetooth receivers.

3. Wait 30 seconds.

4. Navigate to “Check for Updates” located in the “Store/Load/Update” section in the Front Panel Display Menu to update to the latest Release Version (00.61 ) and Networking Module Version (1.03.133) . At this time, you are not able to find the latest update using the “Check for Update” feature using the Web User Interface .

5. Below is a picture of the “System Info” section in the Front Panel Display Menu , showing the current Release Version and Networking Module Version .

6. It is important to note that Release Version 00.61 and Networking Module Version 1.103.133 requires ARC Genesis Version 1.5.4 to complete Anthem Room Correction calibration.

Three-source, three zones
The receiver supports three-source, three-zones. You can drive three different zones with three different sources simultaneously, or all with the same source. Use the receiver’s internal amplification configurable in the setup, or use zone two and zone three pre-outs to connect with external amplifiers. Subwoofer outputs and settings
Immerse yourself in evenly distributed, accurate bass. Featuring up to four subwoofer outputs to smooth out low frequencies and provide better dispersion. No audible peaks or dips—just
powerful, room-filling bass. Tweak your subwoofer settings to your preference when more than two subwoofers are connected. Select “Standard” if you want evenly distributed bass performance. Select “Directional” if you want more directional bass performance seamlessly integrated into the speaker channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.

Pre Amplifier Mode
Your Denon AV amplifier can work as a perfect AV preamplifier with the latest HDMI connectivity. Pre Amplifier Mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by
disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect select speaker channels so that you can use the AV receiver’s built-in amplification to drive non-critical channels to get a clearer signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
